A poor man of afghanistan

this man looks like he is one hundred years old
he looks as cold as a person would in Antarctica
it looks like his family hasn't looked after him properly and he has been misrable all his life
it looks like he hasn't eaten in about 1 month because he looks really hungry
he probably hasn't got a nice house and i can tell that because he looks poor because he is out on the streets
he looks like he hasn't got much clothes
he looks as old as a 1000 year old mummy
it looks like he is a nice man and i can tell that because it looks like he is smiling and his eyes look
really nice
and the wrinkles in his forehead look like they are big cracks
he has got a turban around his head and a big blanket of fur around his hole body
i8t either looks like his family has left him or died or gone to live in another country, city or a town. i think that if he doesn't have food or water he could find a near by river or lake and try to catch some fish and drink some water from that river or the lake ( only if it is clean though).

practising for the cross country

WHOOSH as I put a counter in the container I was on my second lap for the practise cross country run I was so puffed I wanted to stop but I knew I would hafe to do it at morning tea and I didn't want to because I hate running so I carried on running. I was running with Alana I wanted to run ahead of her but I was just to puffed so i stayed with her. I was as puffed as a bull who had ran for an hour when i had done 3 laps I was so puffed I thought my legs would drop off. after a while I had just about done four laps but Mrs Kenyon said stop but she also said that if we were past the cone closest to the counters we could put one in Yay I said. I had got off to a bad start in the practise for the cross country but at least I had done 4 laps.

The under water adventure

‘Brrrrrr’ went the submarine as we started it up. The submarine was as yellow as the sun. We hoped into the submarine and started driving into the water. we saw some amazing fish swim by, It looked liked they were talking to each other and I found out they were I know that because I could hear them. They were saying ‘don’t get near that fishing rod or they will catch you and eat you up. So they swam away but the fishing rod went with them then I suddenly saw that the hook was caught on one of its tail then suddenly the fishing rod went up and so did one of the fish. I was so shocked it felt like someone had just shot me. I’d never seen that happen before. I told the others and they said they had seen it before. ‘THUMP’! ‘Wow what was that ’I said I looked a little bit scared but I looked out the window suddenly I heard someone say ‘hello sorry to frighten you I was just passing by’ said the voice I looked and saw it was a shark I just about fainted a shark had actually talked to me I was amazed. The shark was just about to go but I said ‘no don’t go do you no where the coral reef is’ I asked. ‘yes I do’ said the shark.’ Well can you take me there because I don’t know where to go’ I said. ‘ ok but do you have a wet suite, diving goggles and oxygen’. Said the shark. ‘yes I do’. I said. ‘well put it on’. Said the shark. So I put on my gear and went with the shark. I went on his back because I wasn’t as fast as him. We went up to the surface. I saw the sun it was as bright as a light. Then I saw my mum and dad come to the surface. ‘ hi mum hi dad’! I said. ‘I’m having the best day of my life’. I said.
